I’m pretty sure these are Azure Damselflies. The male is gripping the female while they take a break from laying eggs in the pond.

The lean-to shed came down from around the Banksy on the side of the Prince Albert today and all looks the same as it was before except…..
(the plot thickens)
Update: This seems to have become quite a popular photo which is ironic since it was taken to illustrate a no longer genuine Banksy. Also there are much better pictures of this particular piece on flickr.
Incidentally, the footballer next to it probably isn’t and never was by Banksy. I saw a card on sale at the library that claims it is.
Another update: a much better Banksy related photo that I took: www.flickr.com/photos/barnoid/4449367540/

This is a fully Arduino-compatible setup based on the
Arduino breadboard except with a USB to serial converter and an RS232 level shifter instead of the FTDI chip. I used the parallel cable I’d
made previously to burn the bootloader, then I was able to program it and to communicate with it via USB. This was all done using the normal Arduino software on Linux.

It’s the first time I’ve seen an adult in a while. Plenty of tadpoles around though.
Taken through a circular polariser to reduce reflection from the water.
