The results of this years conservatory tomatoes. They’re actually quite tasty if a bit over ripe.
This is a half second exposure, camera on tripod with an undiffused flash fired by hand from a distance of about a meter.

I passed St. John the Baptist’s Church on Palmeira Square in Hove on the way home from work and the full moon in the sky behind it reminded me of an HDR. So I made that HDR.
This is made from two images 2EV apart. 35mm Porst prime f2.8 on a tripod. Processed in Qtpfsgui with pretty much all the default settings. Tone mapping was Mantiuk with Contrast Factor 0.3 and Saturation Factor 0.8

Took my new (old) Porst 35mm prime to the fireworks at Hove Cricket Ground. Turns out it’s got some nice lens flare.

I got an m42 thread to Canon EF adaptor and have since been collecting nice old primes.
This was a 1 second exposure lit with two flashes: the one on the camera and another kind of above and pointing behind the lenses to make sure you can see the lovely rug backdrop through them.
