For this year’s Brighton Festival St Ann’s Well Gardens is all aflame. Huge rotating metal sculptures carrying flaming flowerpots of wax are dotted around, glowing vest-lanterns and red hot metal globes hang from trees.
It’s an amazing spectacle and it drew large crowds. There must be several scorched children this morning.
