My Olympus 50mm f1.4 lens seems to be quite broken when wide open. See the shape of out of focus lights in the background and the general softness of bright areas.

I’m about to run the gauntlet of that road, then down the steps beyond the arch. The office is near the spire of St Mary Redcliffe in the distance.
