Actionsampler Me
I got the pictures back from my formerly broken actionsampler. I asked Jessops not to cut the negatives so that the wonky frames are intact. Here is some low-fi film scanning involving pointing my camera at the film and using my laptop screen as a light box. Inverted and levels dealt with in Gimp. Mirror in Habitat.

How the cheepo Action Sampler works

How the cheepo Action Sampler works
Tension in that big spring makes the disk spin so that the hole passes by each lens opening. Winding on the film winds the spring. It seems to need a bit of tension stored in it even between windings and that had somehow got lost. After disassembling the thing I now know how to rewind it with out taking it apart completely. I put most of a film through it broken. The results should be interesting.
