Jarvis Concert

Jarvis Concert
Jarvis Cocker in concert at Brighton Dome. He rocked. Maybe one day phones will have cameras with variable apertures and so will be better able to produce a decent exposure. This is the best I could do with the pictures I took.

Salter Cane
Salter Cane were rockin last night, or perhaps alt-countryin? Great gig guys. The support band, Funes (not pronounced how it looks), were rather good too. Though I think most would agree the gig would have been better somewhere a bit bigger and a lot colder. Sorry adactio, you were moving about too much in the shadows for my poor phone camera to cope. I’ve had to blast this with various filters to take the edge off the noise as it is. It will be interesting to see how scribex’s holga photos come out.

Cunts Are Still Running The World

Cunts Are Still Running The World
The great Jarvis Cocker singing the above titled song at Concorde 2 in Brighton on Tuesday. It was a fantastic gig, despite the twats in the audience yelling "Common People" constantly, and being made to stand and wait for two hours. Some cracking new songs. Taken on my brand new Nokia E70. The camera is slightly better than my old 6630, though it seems a bit noisy in low light. I was considering the N93 with 3.2MP camera and optical zoom, but then I saw the E70 with proper keyboard and WLAN and thought nethack over ssh. I wasn’t overly impressed with the results from the N93’s camera anyway. This picture has been cropped and the background blurred to take the edge off the noise.
